Benefit plans are complex. For your plan to run properly, it’s necessary to coordinate random interactions between many people, providers, computers, plan provisions, language, or other complications. Amazingly, this coordination happens millions of times each day, mostly with great efficiency. Nonetheless, there are times that we simply need help navigating these plans. For this purpose we provide our Benefits Resource Center.

Get Help!

We provide a dedicated benefits resource center that allows you to seek assistance from an insurance professional to handle benefit issues and questions, from simple to complex, so that you do not have to. Hours of operation are 7:00 AM (PST) - 5:00 PM (PST), Mon - Fri. After hours, you may leave a recorded message and a representative will contact you the next business day. You may also email your request for assistance: BRCCA@usi.com.

What happens when you call?



When you call the benefit help line, at 888 336-7463, you’ll first hear a message directing you to seek medical care in the event of a medical emergency. You may press “1” to bypass this recorded message and to be immediately connected with a Benefits Resource Center (BRC) insurance professional.

What will the representative need?

  • Be prepared to discuss your issue by having available:
  • Any sort of paperwork or documentation you may have received
  • The contact name and phone number of providers or others related to your question or issue
  • Your basic contact information and insurance plan member number
  • Your explanation of what you need to have done in order to complete a satisfactory resolution

Relax while your BRC benefits advocate uses the information you provided to make the necessary calls and connections to resolve your issue.
